Growing Up!!

I can't believe that McKenzie is almost one. She is growing so fast. It seems like just yesterday that she was born. Now she is trying to walk, she can say several words, and she loves throwing things across the room. She has been doing swimming lessons for almost a month now. She is able to swim underwater and float on her back. She absolutely loves the water!!!

Fun!! Fun!! Fun!!

Today McKenzie joined Logan, Luke, and Caleb at The Wonder Place. She had so much fun, as you can see from the pictures. Her favorite was definitely the water feature. She splashed and splashed and splashed some more. Which really surprised me because she doesn't even splash in the bathtub. She usually hates water in her face.

After we were finished at The Wonder Place we went to our Gymboree Play and Learn class. Today was the first day that she went through the tunnel. She is also practicing standing on her own. Yesterday she was able to stand for about 45 seconds. Go McKenzie!! She is so easily distracted. She will start to stand and then decide she wants to turn around. Of course she falls down, usually on her bottom.

I can't believe how fast she is growing!! We go for her nine month check up on the 25th of this month.

I Finally Did It!!

I have been saying for several months now that I was going to start a blog. Well, I finally did it!!! McKenzie is 8 months old now. She is crawling, scaling, and cruising. We joined The Little Gym last week and she absolutely loves it!! She is a huge fan of the gymnastics bar. Today she was able to hang from the bar. With the assistance of Erin, she was able to flip over the bar. She thought it was the most amazing thing in the world. She couldn't stop smiling and she wanted to do it again and again and again.... She is also working on upper body strength by doing the wheelbarrow. As you can see from the picture she really enjoys.
